The highlight of a drab affair for sports was Matt Baxters goal which secured 3 more points for sports. Sports had the better of the clear cut chances and both Miles and Leuis should have scored in both halfs. AFC Hayes huffed and puffed but failed to really create a chance of mentioning. The real action didn't come until the 70 minute when a heavy Billy Jefferies tackle created a bit of fuss. Jefferies was booked for his actions, then the AFC Hayes forward left a boot in on keeper Richardson which caused another bit of handbags. Just when it all looked calm, adam Roberts tackle caused the 3rd flashpoint as the AFC Hayes player who clearly didn't like the tackle got up and head butted Roberts, all that was left wa sthe AFC Hayes No6 to boot Roberts on the floor while the ref was sending off his mate, lucky boy he didn't get caught.

It sounds like it was exciting but to be honest the game was far from that, but 3 more points and next up a trip to Badshot Lea on Saturday
