Bank Holiday Monday saw The Sports travel not too far away to Egham Town looking to kick start a run of form in the Division.
The Sports lined up with Henry Poole in between the sticks, Louis Dailey, Dom Pires, Joe Smith and Stephen Langley make up the back line, Tommy O'Neil, Jordan Ireland (C) and Max Webb make up the midfield with Dawson Straffon, Harrison Livingstone and Mark Bitmead leading The Sports front line.
I arrived 20 minutes late to this fixture and clearly did not miss much, which seems to be the theme to this match as the first half was very lackluster at best, with Egham playing for a draw using delaying tactics during the half. The best opportunity fell to Louis Dailey seeing his headed effort zip past the post late into the half.

Egham quickly gained the lead after breaking The Sports back line down to slot home their first, 1-0 shortly into the second half. Bedfont now had to respond but with Egham players determined to drag the game out The Sports needed to step up. Jake Beck was bought down in the Egham box forcing the referee to give the penalty. Mark Bitmead stepped up to convert the spot kick and take the scoreline to 1-1. As for the rest of the game it was very much similar to the first half.
