Much Needed 3 Pionts for Sports

With 7 of our youth team away on County Duty it was left to the old guard to secure sports a much needed 3 points.

The return of Tommy Mooney and a start for U16s centre back Conner Wilks saw sports take on in form Badshot Lea. Sports started brighly and were in front after 2 minutes when Jamie Read smashed home Tommy Mooneys cross. Sports then searched for No 2 but found the Badshot keeper in find form, saving from Joe Hughes, Dean Thomas and Tommey Mooney. The second half saw Badshot have most of the play and saw sports defend excellent, as well as hit the vistors on the break.

Final Score 1-0 and a much needed 3 points in our battle to beat the drop
