A real rear guard performance showed sports are up for the fight in the premier division

Sports are starting to get what resembles a settled squad, mick snowden brough back Taylor green from injury and he partnered youth joe Jackson at cb, Bryan obonya came in for Danny Byron.

Sports started brightly and Robbie sitch was causing issues for molesleys high line and high full backs. On 16 minutes sitch pressed the ball high up the pitch and found dean Thomas who strolled through and chipped the on rushing keeper. 10 mins later sports should of made it 2-0 when sitch chipped the keeper but the ball bounced over the bar. The 1st half was very much sports and molesley struggled to get a foothold in the game.

The second half was a very different story, the home side came out with a real purpose, Jackson and green had to be at there best to keeper wave after wave of attacks at bay. Jamie read gave sports a real rest bite holding the ball and getting players around him thoughout the game and always looking like sports might break and get a second. This along with excellent defending held molesley at bay, Adam Roberts could of made it 2-0 when his shot fizzed past the post but sports had to battle on.

9 mins of time added on (no idea where that came from), sports held firm, in the final moments josh Richardson had to pull off a top save to earn the 3 points. So it's 3 wins on the trot and a massive scalp as molesley will be title challengers but with was an important win for us, 25points now after 17games.
