Spirited Sports Go down fighting

With Manager Mick Snowden still away it was left to Ian Barrado and Youth manager Terry Reader to pick up the pieces from last weeks battering, just to add to the task high flighing Camberley were the visitors and Sports list of un avaible players was growing. Top Goalscorer Jordan Espirt, Tommy Mooney, Adam Fearn, Danny Byron and Jack Harman were all missing, However sports did have the KING returning Jamie Read and Phil Dexter.

Sports Started with a youthful look about them and Camberley knew they were in a game. Darryl Sanders seemed to be finding all of his passes, and with Adam Roberts working his socks off sports look confortable dealing with Camberley and also were creating chances. Half time came at 0-0 and the message was more of the same.

Camberley took the lead on 58 minutes when Taylor Green didnt get up quick enough keeping there forward on side and there forward had a tap in from 6 yards. They then made it 2-0 when a mix up by debut keeper Josh Richardson and Green saw the forward get his foot to the ball first and lift it over richardson to make it 2-0. This time sports didnt sport trying to play and after some neat play on the edge of the box Jackson slipped in Jamie Read, the frontmans finish was clinicial and on 85 mins it was 2-1, game on and sports went in search of a point, grant cooper could not get on the end of Darryl Sanders pass and camberley held on.

Take nothing away from the boys today who worked there socks off and were unlucky not to get a point, with Josh and Jordan Wain making there debuts, Dean Thomas put in a real man of the match performance and with Read only just returning sports are starting to look the team they were last season.
