Rangers visited our friends at Ascot today. We started quickly with simple precise passing leading to an early goal for Will. From then on the result never seemed in doubt with every player sticking to their job diligently ensuring Rangers had the majority of the possession.
There followed another goal from Will and goals from Ollie, Aidan and Dom. However there were so many chances and despite his hard work Sean was deprived of a goal when he was one on one with the Ascot goalie and the ref didn't give anything although Sean was clearly pulled back. Aidan got on the scoresheet but could have had his first hat trick for the team. The Ascot keeper did well and kept our score to 5.
It was disappointing to concede 2 goals in as many minutes after a lapse of concentration particularly as generally the defenders, Rhys, Humza, Joe and Tom helped by Ben were solid and helped dominate the game, limiting Ascot's chances.
As well as the Rangers playing good football Rob very pleased that the referee commented on the Ranger's discipline and behaviour being a credit to our club.
Well done and keep it up.
