Tonight sees our last game of the season in a local Derby against spelthorne sports

So finally the season draws to a close as tonight sees our last 1st team game and the visit of spelthorne sports. The spelly will turn up at sports with more than a few old sports faces with a number of former 1st team and bedfont Eagles players in there ranks.

Former sports frontmen tommy mooney and jamie 'the king' read have both had impressive seasons for spelly, along with a recent addition will prince doing well in goal for them. Young Eagles Lewis flatman, Ollie Davison have been impressive for spelly in recent weeks and lastly sports legend ben 'the treehugger' buzzard may make an appearance, we look forward to welcoming back all our former players who all served the club well during there time with us. Spelly are on an impressive run with 1 defeat in 11 league games so it's going to be a tough encounter.

On to sports, our form against spelly is not the best with 2 draws and 3 defeats in our 5 meetings so the gaffa will be looking to finish the season strong and break the recent trend. Recent weeks have seen us settle on our new pitch with an unbeaten run of 8 games, all be it with 6 draws and 2 wins, including an impressive 4-2 victory over Guildford city on Tuesday night. Sports have a few former spelly players in there ranks including the gaffa Paul Johnson who lead spelly to there most successful period in there history with an unbeaten promotion season, 2 cup finals and there highest premier division finish, along with Paul, joe goodman, big Jeff, jamie richards and jake hicks all have joined sports from spelthorne this season. In form front men Jacob lamb, Matt Riggs and Darryl sanders are all in the squad who have all found the net in recent weeks so let's hope they can continue there fine form.

The game looks set to be a tasty local Derby with either club wanting to finish the season with a defeat, sports themselves could finish 8th and above spelthorne if we manage to get the 3 points so we will be looking to finish the season in style.

Local supporters can also get a look at our new stadium facilities with our new state of the art 3G pitch and stadium upgrades the club have completed in recent weeks.

So why not get your Friday football fix, 7.45pm KO at Bedfont sports club.
