Safeguarding

SAFEGUARDING IS EVERYONE'S RESPONSIBILITY –
NO ACTION IS NOT AN OPTION

In the light of recent media stories and as part of ongoing work to ensure our policies and procedures are up to date, BEDFONT SPORTS / EAGLES have decided to increase the level of resources allocated to this important area.

Andrea READER and Kieron COTTER are now designated as Club Welfare Officers. At the same time, the Club's Safeguarding Policy has been updated to fully reflect the standards required by the FA and can be viewed in the "Our Club" and "Members' Docs" section of the website.

However, each and every one of us has an important role to play.
REMEMBER...
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility if you are worried about a child it is important that you
report your concerns - no action is not an option. If you are worried about a child then you need to report your concerns to the Club Welfare Officers.

If the child needs immediate medical treatment take them to a hospital or call an ambulance and
tell them this is a child protection concern. Let your Club Welfare Officer know what action you
have taken, they in turn will inform the Middlesex County FA Welfare Officer.
