Bedfont U16's went to Staines for this weeks league fixture, Last season Bedfont and Staines competed for the league title which was taken right until the last week of the season which see Bedfont crowned champions so there like always has been a good competitive commitment from both teams over the year, so this years fixtures have the mixture to be as good as previous years...

Bedfont's bad luck just keeps on giving and it wasn't long before Staines were in front with a own goal from Bedfont which see us trying to clear the ball after some good defending only to see the ball deflect off of a defender and into his own net, 1-0 Staines.

Bedfont had the bit between there teeth with joe in midfield leading the charge which resulted in a corner to Bedfont, Charlie Cain delivered a cracking corner in for Aaron to grab his first goal for Bedfont from a bullet header that 11 goalkeepers wouldn't stop... 1-1

The game was well contested, we were now in the second half with Bedfont on the front foot and taking the game to Staines Staines goalkeeper made some good saves keeping his team in the game.. but it was a piece of magic from Bedfont that see them go in front.. Some neat play from the defenders into the midfield who found Callahan who played a neat one two with Aaron who set the ball back in Callahan's path for him to unleash a cracking 25+ yard left foot shot which see the ball rocket in off the post of the Staines goal..... 2-1 Bedfont 15/20 mins to go.

Bedfont new that they would be under pressure but as a team they were all working to defend there lead but again we gave away a silly needless free kick which resulted in Staines grabbing a equalizer with the ball bouncing off the post 2-2.. .

The game ended with Bedfont players feeling like they had been robbed, but that's football and we go again this week against Abbey Rangers.
