Cooper called into action as eagles Win again

With todays long journey to Epson and Ewell without marksman Tyler Medland eagles knew it was going to be hard. To be fair to Epson and Ewell the scoreline flattered eagles who were really made to work by there opponants. Eagles broke the deadlock with a goal good enough to win any game, Frankie Finn corner was met on the volley by Ryan Fruin, the skipper made no mistake in dispatching his volley to put Eagles 1-0 up. This settled Eagles as Ben Cooper had made 2 quality stops beforehand to keep eagles in the game. Eagles second came from damien Cuthew, after Jake German Ball, Damien made no mistake to put Eagles 2-0 up at the break. The second half the call was to keep the ball in the strong wind, however it was Epson who struck first after there forward broke the offside trap and slide the ball past Ben Cooper. Lewis Evans cuthew made the points safe, not to be outdone Ryan Fruin added his own 30 yard powerdrive to make it 4-1. Rightback come striker Jordan Fuller showed his poacher instincts as he run onto Jake Germans ball, which was dummied By frankie Finn, Jordan made no mistake to make it 5-1. Epson and Ewells No 11 who had made Luke Mountain work all game then made it 5-2 with a neat finish. Frankie Finn then showed great feet to skip past 2 defenders and smash home number 6, all that was left was Damien to complete his double with a 30 yard screamer and secure eagles unbeaten start to the season.
