Muddy Defeat For Eagles

Bedfont played a muddy host to Inter Ditton; with the pitch having been swept of water and slippery conditions this was going to be a challenging game.

The match started well with Inter making some good chances at goal and put Bedfont under some real pressure.
The muddy conditions were against both sides with the ball not rolling very far.
There were some near misses from Lewis Flatman and Charlie Pike and some fine saves from keeper George Woodbridge.

The first half ended 0-0.

The second half started and within 20 minutes Inter scored an amazing goal slotting the ball in the top left hand corner well out of the reach of the Bedfont keeper.

Then just 2 minutes later Bedfont won a penalty, and up stood Lewis Flatman for his first penalty for Bedfont. Without any hesitation he found the back of the Inter net, taking the score to 1-1.
Bedfont had some great chances at goal but it wasn’t their day.

Then with an Inter player being sent off and down to 10 men it was a great opportunity for Bedfont to get ahead. Unfortunately it was not to be and with a one on one with the Bedfont keeper Inter scored the winner.

With the Bedfont keeper sustaining an injury, stand in Keeper Calum Fullerman took the gloves. Once again Bedfont tried there hardest but couldn’t find the Inter goal mouth.

The final whistle blew making it 2-1 to Inter Ditton.
