Eagles Hit 8 to send them packing

Eagles were made to work alot harder than the scoreline suggests with an impressive 8-0 Victory against a spirited Send Utd.

Damien Cuthew put Eagles on there way after Eagles 3 Man Midfield combined to set him clean through for 1-0. The Second was somewhat fortunate when Tyler Medlands shot was spilled by the keeper to make it 2-0. Ryan Fruin then set Frankie Finn on his way, the front man rounded the keeper for 3-0. Then a well worked free kick saw skipper Ryan Fruin smash his free kick home to put Eagles 4-0 up at the break.

The second half was more of the same. Damien Cuthew made it 5-0 with his trademan run from midfield and a classy finish. Lewis Evans then finally scored after missing 2 excellent chances he scored his most difficult to make it 6-0. Debut boy Ben Coombes then got in on the act with a good run and finish to make it 7-0. All that was left was for Lewis Edmunds to score his first goal of the season, he beat his man on the edge of the box and smashed home from the edge of the box to complete the scoring and send Eagles 14 Points clear with 7 games to play...
