Nice venue today weather windy with lots of sunshine.
Both teams settle in early into the game, Bedfont Girls are playing well with great team work.
Only 4 minutes into the first half and Bedfont play up field when Amy Barnett passes the ball to Abriza and she scores a good goal.
Excellent football is being played when Thatcham cross the ball into the goal area but it just goes wide, Thatcham are putting the pressure on and score their first goal.
Thatcham keep on fighting when they have a couple more shots at goal, they are closing in.
Defence are trying to keep tight at the back and Rebecca clears the ball from the goal area.
Bedfont are passing the ball well, when shots by Amy Barnett, Georgia, Amy O'Sullivan, and Abriza all unfortunately either just going wide or over the bar - the ball just does not want to go in the back of the net.
Second Half
Thatcham go in for the first attack, but Bedfont are fighting back Abriza has another shot but again just going wide, Emily has a shot but is unlucky and is saved by the goalie.
Bedfont up the pressure with more shots from Amy Barnett but just going wide, this does not seem fair so many attempts but the ball is not playing the game, the opposition are defending well. Thatcham then break through out of the blue and go straight through and score the winning goal, match finishes 2-1 to Thatcham.
A good game to watch with lots of courage, fight and skill.
