A chilly and an early start for Bedfont Girls today. Caversham kick off at 9.30. Bedfont get the first attack in but Caversham soon get into the game and Paige has to come out and saves the first attempt at goal.
Georgia puts in an early shot but it is saved. Only 10 minutes pass and Caversham break through and score their first goal, good football is played by both sides then Caversham gets through and within 5 minutes another goal is scored.
Amy O'Sullivan has a shot but the ball just goes wide, play continues when a scramble in the goal area gives them another chance and goal number 3 is scored. Bedfont don't give up and they need to battle.
Bedfont get back in the game when Abriza passes the ball through and Amy Barnett scores our first goal. Abriza has a quick shot at goal but is unfortunately saved. Caversham are back on the attack they have a shot but is saved by Paige.
Second Half
Bedfont kick off and Caversham go in for the first shot but Paige saves the ball from going in the net. Bedfont are getting back into the game when another shot by Amy O'Sullivan just gets saved.
Georgia kicks the ball up and lands up with Sapphire she turns and Sapphire gets our second goal, we are back in the game. Caversham don't give up and come back and within minutes they score.
Bedfont Girls give it their all when Georgia crosses the ball and Danielle volleys the ball into the back of net. It's 4-3. Come on Bedfont get the draw, although more shots are fired from Bedfont we just can't get the ball in the back of the net, the final whistle blows.
An enjoyable game - but unlucky not to get the draw, well played everyone.
