A first half goal on the 40th minute from George Frise sent The Sports into half time leading Kingstonian FC 1-0.

Kingstonian's drew level on the 60th minute through Moses Emmanuel, 1-1. 20 minutes later and the same man Moses Emmanuel struck again and took the lead for Kingstonian's in the 80th minute, 2-1 Kingstonian. Sports youth team product Jude Jakes-Mckay scored his second goal of the season on the 85th minute to equalise, 2-2. With minutes left on the clock of stoppage time, Lewis Flatman delivers a free kick that floats towards the back post for Joe Smith to head the ball down for Ollie Davison who tucks home for The Sports, clinching the 3 points and a victorious return to Step 4 football.
