Barrys says -“Im very pleased Charlie has commited to us for the season. Charlies a top lad who comes with Step 3 and 4 experience. Charlie is a great athlete who effects games equally as a central defender or Right back. Charlie is a player who without doubt has the ability and attributes to climb the pyramid beyond step 3 in my opinion. He just needs a consistent run without any injuries and he will fly. I have known Charlie since scouting him at u15 and it was a proud moment for his family just one year later when represented his country at u16 level. I know Charlies family well and he comes from good stock and is the type of character we want in the dressing room. To have players like him and Jordan ireland commiting for the season shows the intent of the club wanting a progressive season. Pre Season cant come soon enough.”

Charlie says -“Barry’s helped me a lot in my footballing career he’s the one that helped me get my first contract in the academy system and through out my career he’s always helped any way he can so I’ve always trusted him and respected his management skills. I’ve always loved Bedfont Sports after my first stint there and was upset I couldn’t carry on my loan spell at the back end of the season due to injury. So I want to make it right and help anyway I can to get them where they’re meant to be.”

We would like to welcome Charlie back to the Rec and can’t wait to see him on the pitch wearing the hoops again !!!
