The U12's topped the group at the Abbey Rangers Tournament.
Up first were tournament hosts Abbey Rangers, with Bedfont controlling the majority of the game creating a number of chances. Emily Flynn broke the deadlock with a fine strike. The game finished a very comfortable 1-0.
In the 2nd game it was much the same with the Bedfont Girls controlling the game against Epsom Eagles. Bedfont creating all the chances with Rachael Tooze finishing off another period of sustained pressure with a lovely finish. The game finished 1-0 for Bedfont's 2nd win of the day.
So 2 games and 2 wins with Bedfont needing only a draw to top a very competitive group. The 3rd an final group game was against a strong Colne Valley team. Bedfont were under pressure for long periods with the impressive Paige Horsnell doing some fine work in goal. The Bedfont girls defended well and earned a solid 0-0 draw to top the group.
In the Semi Finals we faced a very strong Crystal Palace Ladies side. Bedfont battled hard and done themselves proud against a team who haven't dropped a point in 2 years.Eventually Crystal Palaces pressure paid off, scoring 2 quick goals, Bedfont did have a late chance with Sapphire Thomson for a consolation goal, but she was stopped by an impressive tackle from a Crystal Palace defender.Final Score 2-0
