Welcome to the 26/27 season!

So as we venture in to our 2nd season back in the Isthmian league after our promotion back to the league in 24/25 season we have so much to look forward to.

It's been a busy off season at Bedfont Sports Club, we have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to improve the fan experience for this season and this has seen a number of exciting new additions!!

So, to start with we have taken down our 100 seater stand on the half way line that has served us so well for the past 15 years since we built it and it has been replaced with a new 150 steel frame stand which I think everyone will agree is a real eye catcher as you walk into the ground. We have then upgraded our dug outs to what I believe are the best in non league with our new 16 seater bucket seat dug outs!! But we have not stopped there, our team have installed a new 50 seater stand next to the scoreboard and we hope to have another 100 seater stand finished by the end of September 2026, all of this will take the seating capacity to an impressive 600 seats.

However, my personal favourite upgrade is the outside Fan Zone and pitch side bar which we have installed, this will enable supporters to enjoy pre-match refreshments without having to leave the ground and create a better match day experience for fans!!

Moving onto the football, it has been a pre-season of some change, firstly joint manager Barry Chapman has stepped aside this season to enjoy his grandchildren and Alfie Chapman will now take sole charge. I'm delighted to have Alfie with us, and he has brought back a couple of sports fans favorites in Scott Weight and Michael Kinsella as part of his management team, which I'm sure will be a big asset to him. Alfie has worked his socks off during pre-season in reshaping the squad, and I'm looking forward to seeing our new signings in action as we welcome Concord Rangers this Saturday, but just as important he has kept most of the core of the squad from the past few seasons which will put us in a good position to get up and running.

I can't wait to get started, we are hoping our supporters will enjoy their match day experience more this year and more importantly lets all get behind Alfie and his team as we kick off in the FA Cup this Saturday.
