Bedfont Sports are delighted to confirm Alfie Chapman has agreed to continue as Bedfont Sports 1st team for the 2026/27 campaign. Alfie has been joint manager with Barry Chapman for the past 2 seasons but will now take the hotseat alone with Barry stepping down to spend more time with his grandchildren and also in his holiday home !!

Alfie has wasted no time in agreeing with Scott Weight to become his Assistant manager and will confirm the rest of his management team in due course.

We would like to thank Barry for his amazing efforts over the past 3 seasons, both him and Alfie were brought in to get the club back to Step 4 but more importantly bring the club back to its roots, something both Barry & Alfie have done with the passion and commitment that you only get from people who have the club in there veins.

Alfie now goes it alone and everyone at Bedfont Sports is excited for the 2026/27.
