He shares the same values and vision as the club, has a proven track record in non-league football as well as developing players and building a winning culture and mentality.

There are huge challenges ahead, but we are excited and determined to see how far we can continue to grow as a club on and off the pitch.

Barry Said : “I am full of excitement and relishing the honour of managing this great local club.

“As well as an overriding passion and appreciation for the opportunity to come back here as manager, there is certainly an additional feeling of romance and emotional attachment to this special football club.

“It is my aspiration to put a solid group together that has a real local feel about it and an understanding that it means something to pull on the Sports shirt.

“We have a pristine playing surface deserving of a brand of football that is enjoyable to witness but ultimately it is about winning football matches.

“I know the Combined Counties league as good as anyone and can’t underestimate the standard of this league. You only have to look at the FA Vase in recent seasons with Chertsey Town winners and Ascot United preparing for this years final to realise how strong a step 5 league
the CCL is.

“I would like to extend thanks to Terry, Craig and the board for giving me this opportunity and with my team, we now turn full attentions to this position.”
