A game of two halfs
A better second half performance for Rangers
Bedfont Rangers U 11's played host to a well drilled Woking Cougiers team who from the off set there stall out for the game ahead.... Cougiers were first to open the scoring with a well worked goal making them early leaders 1-0.
Rangers had some good attacks and tested the Cougiers defence with Tate finally getting the equalizer 1-1.
For some reason rangers fell into a hole that they just couldnt get out of, with all our hard work over the past weeks in training it felt like we were a new team that hadn't played together giving the ball away cheaply, not keeping our shape and most importantly not working as a team... this ended in rangers going in at half time 4-1 down.
At half time i asked the boys if what we had just played was good enough for the standhard that we have set our selfs, with all the players in agreement they knew what they had to do.....
the second half was much better, we was pressing the ball, making tackles, being direct in our play but most importanly we was playing as a team... it wasnt long before we found our selfs back in the game with another goal from Tate 4-2 and a debut goal from Georgie 4-3, Rangers were on the push for the next goal but just couldnt break the defence of Woking.
Woking managed to score again putting the game out of reach for rangers, fianl score 5-3
man of match Dennis......
