First game of the season ends in a loss
A game of two halfs......
Rangers played there first match as a 9 a side team, showing promise for the future.....
The game started slow with Molesy taking the upper hand showing they meant business...
Molesy went 1-0 up with some good play resulting in a long range effort going in the bottom of the Bedfont net.
Rangers replied quickly when they was rewarded a corner, a callahan inswinger resulted in Tate popping up with the equalizer 1-1.
The first half had 10 mins left when some how rangers found there selfs 3-1 down going into the half time break.
I asked the boys at half time to be more rowbust but far in there play and to be more direct in there football, rangers started quick and strong, when Tate broke through the Molesy defence with Ant in support, the molesy goal keeper came rushing out for Tate to pass the ball to Ant who cooly slotted home to make the score 3-2.
Rangers were on top for a 10 min period but just could'nt get that equalizer, Ben in goal made some awesome saves keeping his team still in the game, but Molesy's pressure just see them home with there 4th goal to make the final score 4-2.
A better second half was pleasing with the boys all agreeing that the tempo we played with in the second half is how we need to start and finish games in the future.
My Man of the Match was Ben.
see you all next week.
