New skipper Joe Jackson, who made is sports debut as a 16 year old, came through our youth team and was skipper for sports most successful youth side, was part of the great escape, played a massive part in the promotion season, went to Uni at Loughborough for 3 years and now returns to sports this season as skipper.

1. What was your favorite moment since you have been a Bedfont Sports Player?
Without a doubt getting promoted, was a huge achievement for the club and something I was very proud to be a part of.

2. And your worst moment?
Not winning the league with the youth team.

3. How will we do this season?
We have a young, quick side and I can see us sneaking into the play offs.

4. Which matches are you most looking forward to going to- and why?
Bracknell because they are favourites for the league and you always want to test yourself against the best.

5. What is your favorite away ground?
Hanwell, beautiful pitch and the new changing rooms look class.

6. Who do you consider are biggest rivals- and why?
Ashford because our grounds are very close and they always give us a good game.

7. What was your best goal for Sports ?
Scoring against North Greenford in the 93rd min to win 3-2. I like to think it played a part in us going up.

8. Who is your favorite player of all time (for Bedfont Sports)- and why?
Played with some excellent players such as Luke Ruddick, Scott Harris and Nathan Cooper but my favourite is Darryl and not just because he is my best friend. He is a joy to watch and I think everyone is excited to see him return this season after his long term injury.

Joe will lead sports for the 1st time on Saturday 17th August as we welcome Hanwell Town, so sports fans get down and get behind our boys !!!
