Club Legend Tim Pitt moves on

By Terry Reader

After 184 appearances, Club legend Tim Pitt moves on

Tim Pitt has taken the decision to leave the club in search of a new challenge for the 2019/20 season.

Tim was one of former manager Mick Snowdens 1st signings and joined the club at our lowest period in our short history. With just 8 points at Xmas and Sports looking like heading for the relegation trap door, Pitt was a key player in helping the club complete the 'Great Escape' that season. Tim has been ever present since, making 184 appearances since joining the club back in 2014, becoming the clubs record appearance holder in the process, and was also a key player in our most successful period to date by helping the club to promotion from the combined counties league.

Always a fans favourite, Pitty was one of those players who always had time for the clubs youth section, showing his support at games, helping with coaching and always taking time to talk to parents and supporters.

Everyone at the club would like to thank Tim Pitt for his loyal service to Bedfont Sports and wish him all the best in his next challenge
