Eagles Win Keeps The Pressure On

by Woody Fridley

Eagles beat Farnham United Tigers 4-1 in a scrappy game to keep the pressure on Ashford Town for the league title.

Eagles started poorly and conceded after 90 seconds from a corner, Eagles started to respond and Tom Brayshaw powered a 20 yard drive into the net to make it 1-1. On 31 minutes a great pass by Colby OLeary split the Farnham defence for Charlie Lee to slot home. Reagan Thomas lobbed the Farnham keeper on 51 minutes after a pass from Tom Brayshaw and Charlie Lee completed the scoring in the 62nd minute. Oliver Pinto was unlucky to have a goal disallowed from a dubious offside decision
